Different kinds of dirt bikes!

There are 5 different brands of dirt bikes. Yamaha Motor Company is a Japanese manufacturer which began motorcycle production in 1955. The boys in blue have always been at the leading edge of technology, never shying away from taking big risks to do so. They are now the second largest producer of motorcycles in the world, and continue to grow every year. Honda Motor Corp is currently the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. Based in Tokyo, Japan, the Big Red Wing gained massive popularity with the release of the Super Cub in 1958 and carries on the tradition today with the CBR, Gold Wing and CRF models. Honda, along with Yamaha, has always been known as one of technological leaders in the two-wheeled world. Part of the Big Four Japanese motorcycle manufactures, Suzuki has won racing championships in every two wheel motorsports. Whether it’s Supercross or Motocross with its RM-Z 450 AND RM-Z 250 motocross bikes or either the AMA or World Superbike roadracing series with its line of ultra-high performance GSX-R 600, GSX-R 750 and GSX-R 1000 sportbikes, Team Suzuki knows how to engineer a motorcycle that can win races on or off-road. A successful manufacturing company with a long, rich history, Kawasaki jumped into the motorcycle world first as an engine builder, then as a manufacturer in 1960. It put out its first street bike, the B8, which was later spun off into a motocross bike termed the B8M. This machine was a precursor to its current line of KX motocross bikes including the fuel-injected KX450F and KX250F. Last but not least is KTM, Go to any off-road racing event and the popularity of orange dirt bikes is crazy. KTM has developed into one of the strongest manufacturer in the business, but the Austrian company wasn’t always so popular.  Hans Trunkenpolz opened a repair shot in Mattighofen, Austria in 1934 to work on cars and motorcycles. From these humble beginnings, the company would blossom into an industry powerhouse.
